Fair Park is home to the Rockdale Fair and Rodeo and the Jubilee Days. Great events happen at Fair Park! The park has many suitable amenities, including the New Salem building, to accommodate events such as ropings, livestock shows, carnivals, horseshoe tournaments, barbecue cookoffs, and concerts. A 3/8th mile oval horse track is available for exercising horses or just taking a leisure ride.

The George Hill Patterson Community Center is located at 609 Mill Street and is a great facility for weddings, family reunions, or meetings. Surrounded by huge oak trees, the indoor facility provides 6200 square feet of space to use for your special event.

Veterans Park is located at the corner of Brazos Street and Mistletoe Lane in western Rockdale. Veterans Park has many great amenities including three playscapes for all ages, swings, picnic tables, tennis courts, walking trail, butterfly garden and a pavilion.
