Working with Everyone Else and the “Usual Suspects”

Life is hard. Everyone knows that, but sometimes it’s really hard. Especially if one is dealing with mood disorders (i.e. depression, bi polar disorders or just plain discontent). Anxiety disorders are like depressive disorders, they are annoying, horribly distracting and a complete time such.
Life makes us grow in so many ways, and for most of us the growing pains are hard. We can’t believe that we have to go through loss, grieving, heart break…but sometimes it’s just the way it is. Radical acceptance is a new term tossed about, and it’s a good one. And sometimes it helps to talk with someone to share the load as we are walking toward accepting things as they are.
Anxiety hates company. The quick way to relieve anxiety is to tell someone about it. It helps just to get the words out. Sometimes doing healthy things, like exercising and sleeping more, really make all the difference. Sometimes not.
All of my adult professional life, I have been helping people live better and happier, despite their depression and anxiety. Sometimes medication is in order, sometimes a life change, but it all starts with finding someone to talk with about what is taking your time, energy
and happiness away.
