At Iceberg Technology Group, we are a refreshing departure from the traditional consulting firm. Clients don’t listen to a typical sales pitch from a sales person who is unfamiliar with the software. In fact, we don’t employ sales people at all! Instead, each client is served by an Account Manager from our consulting ranks who know your enterprise software package. Our Account Managers are experienced consultants who have implemented, upgraded, and supported enterprise applications for similar clients. We understand the challenges clients face from firsthand experience and can deliver the right resources to get the job done.
This unique approach allows us to better serve our clients because we remove the layers that add minimal value. Iceberg Technology Group maintains an extremely lean administrative staff. Reducing our overhead means attractive bill rates for our clients and allows is to fairly compensate the people that do add value to our clients, the consultants.
Our model allows us to maximize the compensation to the person doing the work -- the consultant. We charge a small flat operational fee which covers our insurance and back office needs. This compensation module provides our customers with rate that is lower than what other vendors can charge for the exact same person! Iceberg Technology Group can do this as we don't have any paid back office staff, nor is our board or officers compensated which helps us keep our administrative cost low and our rates very competitive.
We have found that our model improves consultant retention as the consultant helped determine an agreed upon rate and customers are appreciative of the cost savings.
The independent consultant market is finite and all vendors are reaching out to the same resource pool. By giving the consultant the power to control their individual rate, they continue to choose to work with Iceberg.
