New Hope for Metastatic Prostate Cancer

Prostate Specific Membrane Antigens are proteins that target sensitive receptors on prostate cancer cells. When attached to radio isotopes with short half lives they can deliver short-range lethal doses of radiation to tumors regardless of position in the body. This treatment is  effective in many advanced metastatic prostate cancer patients  significantly reducing tumor mass, slowing growth with few side effects reducing PSA levels, while sparing normal tissues and organs.
