Taking care of your concrete once it has been poured plays an important role in maintaining the durability and beauty. By following these guidelines it will add to the value of your investment.
- Concrete must be cured, cleaned and dry prior to sealing
- Sealing must be completed in the right weather and temperature
- Concrete can be sealed to prevent staining
- Exterior concrete should be sealed once every year (preferably in the Spring or Fall)
- Sealing concrete will bring the concrete and color back to the day it was installed
- Do not use chemicals or salt to remove ice and snow (salt eats away at concrete)
