At Ravens Nest in Austell, GA, we take the holistic approach to individual health and wellness. We provide outpatient clinical services including psychopharmacological evaluations and medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, parent skills training, group therapy, and diagnostic, intelligence, and achievement testing. We specialize in working with children and adolescents with mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder) and anxiety disorders. Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)

Ravens Nest Foundation addiction treatment program allows the adolescent to work through many emotional conflicts within the support of our clinical team. Adolescents move through levels and are assisted in developing living skills, interpersonal skills and relapse prevention skills. The ASAP setting at Ravens Nest is designed for our adolescents, by allowing room for exploration, meditation, and activities geared toward the high energy level of teens.

There is a serious mental health workforce shortage. In states with the lowest workforce, the number of providers per patient is up to six (6) times greater than in other areas. This includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and psychiatric nurses combined. Telemedicine allows us to provide mental health service to those underserved communities in rural area.
