Can a Company provide your medical data to a 3rd party?
Unless the employer receives your consent, they cannot release your medical information to a 3rd party with the following exceptions:
1) Supervisors and Managers who require information to accommodate a work restriction
2) First Aid and Safety personnel information about a disability that might require
emergency treatment
3) Government officials are investigating the employer’s compliance with ADA (Americans
with Disabilities Act) and/ or some OSHA investigations
