As I move one step closer to full retirement I will be ending my involvement in you company's import and export activities.  But I can't move on without first thanking you for all the help you have provided over the past 16 years.

When I first became involved in importing, your company was assisting us with the importing of products from two countries into our New Bedford facility.  Today you assist us with the imports from 10 foreign countries on 4 contents to ou warehouses in New Bedford, Texas and California; and the direct shipments from our overseas factories to our overseas customers.  As we began exporting you were there to help develop strategies and coordinate governmental and carrier services. 

Customer service is the corner stone to our business. Our customers rely on us to never let them run out of stock. Importing inherently contains many challenges and obstacles that can't be controlled but no matter what the challenge, you were there to help develop solution. I recall the times you had to intercept shipments, split them and redirect their deliveries because of uncontrolled carrier delays or governmental imposed delays. I remember the times you personally hand carried documents to the government agencies so that we could quickly release product from our bonded warehouse.

I don't know how our company could have navigated through the dumping duty crisis of 2010-2011 without your help.

People become friends for many reasons. You have become my friend because you were always there when we needed help.
