JOSUÉ Valdez, is a Honduran pianist born in the city of San Pedro Sula. He started his formal music studies at the age of 17 at the Victoriano López School of Music, in the instrumental execution courses. His teachers have included David Paz, Luis Solís, José Carpio and Daniel Montes. Valdez, participated in the recitals organized by his section within the school of music. By the age of 21, he finished his studies in the academy of music. His repertoire includes pieces of the great composers from Mozart to Beethoven to Rachmaninoff. Currently, he is a Piano Performance major in The University of Southern Mississippi, studying with Dr. Elizabeth Moak.
