Brian long ago vowed that two things should never be compromised—the quality of products used in making removables, and consistent individualized attention to each case. He found that in the larger production laboratories that he’d spent years working and managing did not honor those two concepts which have been the backbone of Mouer Dental Designs since its formation.
We don’t cut corners, we don’t take the easy way—it’s that simple. Having that standard, the only way to achieve the best results was to do it all in-house—overseeing all the details. From night guards, to thermoplastic partials, each appliance is hand crafted in our lab. Brian casts his own frameworks. Keeping with his standards made outsourcing an inadequate option.
We now foster synergistic relationships with doctors all over California— primary a result of communication and providing the best suitable options for doctor and patient. My Story

Brian J. Mouer CDT

Welcome to Mouer Dental Designs. I formed this company with passion and determination to provide the most innovative and advanced removable prosthetics—all the while carefully balancing the call for efficient and quality production along with the needs of the patients.

 

Even as a teen I was enthused about dentistry. I served in the United States Navy and served as a dental assistant/hygienist. The experience I gained in the military confirmed that I was on the right path and my aspirations in the dental field were where I would thrive.

 

My first job was courier for a Sacramento-based dental laboratory. When there was down time, I learned model pouring and articulating. Before long, I was asked to join the denture department and started mastering the fabrication of dentures.  Within 5 years, I was asked to join the cast partial department and soon rose as lead technician.

 

After 16 years at that laboratory, I was offered a position in another Northern California laboratory as manager of the removable department. I spent 2 years producing prosthetics and managing personnel, inventory, and quality control.

 

By 1998, I’d gained well-rounded experience of the removable dental arena as well as insight into the success and pitfalls of many large production laboratories and formed Mouer Dental Designs Inc.

 

As technology escalated, so did my desire to advance my skills in the area of precision dentures, partials, and hybrid- screw and retained dentures. This is where I have found the most challenge and fulfilling.

 

I have always strived to restore beautiful smiles--The satisfaction of seeing patients tearful at the transformation is what keeps I thrive to accomplish.
