Waste Identification and Classification

The hazardous waste identification process is the crucial first step in the hazardous waste management system. Correctly determining whether a waste meets the RCRA definition of hazardous waste is essential to determining how the waste must be managed.We have the knowledge to properly identify and classify waste based on the four hazardous waste characteristics; ignitability, reactivity, corrosivity and toxicity.  

If laboratory analysis is needed to assist in accurately determining waste characteristics, we will collect a representative sample of the waste and submit it to an independent certified laboratory for testing.

Document Preparation

There are numerous forms that must be completed prior to shipping a waste off-site for disposal. One of the primary documents for waste disposal is the waste profile form. This form must be completed before a waste can be accepted for disposal at a designated disposal facility.The key component of the waste shipment and tracking is the waste manifest. The waste manifest allows tracking of the waste while in transit to its final disposal destination.  

We will electronically prepare waste profiles and all appropriate documents for shipping to include; waste manifest, labels, and land disposal restriction notifications (LDR's).

Disposal Site Selection

Waste disposal options range from landfill, incineration, to recycling. We will determine along with generator’s approval the most appropriate disposal facility for your waste materials based on appropriate disposal technology.Through our network of environmentally secure disposal facilities, we can manage a wide variety of waste streams and are able to offer you the benefit of environmentally sound disposal options and cost-effective pricing.
