How We Got Started  

Dahl Trucking, LLC was established in 1973 with only local hauling of grain and gravel. In 1976, we expanded the business to an over-the-road, 48 state service.  

In January 2000, we took on a new look by going from a single proprietorship to a Limited Liability Corporation. Dahl Trucking, LLC is owned by brothers by Ted and Keith Dahl and son Aaron.  

We are currently running 60+ tractors and 80+ trailers. Ninety seven percent (97%) of our equipment is 2008 or newer. Our trailers are 53' vans and 48" and 53" reefers.  

In January of 2001, Dahl Trucking, LLC opened a brokerage service. Frontier Freight handles freight throughout all 48 states.  

The goals of Frontier Freight are the same as Dahl Trucking, LLC which is a reliable and dependable service for our shippers being our top priority.  

We expect the carriers we hire for Frontier Freight loads to adhere to the same stringent philosophy as we have built for our own trucking business.  

In May of 2001, Dahl Trucking, LLC moved into a new facility in Langdon, ND. The new building houses our offices and a full commercial truck service center.  

We are very proud that our company has been able to enjoy positive growth, even through the most trying times the trucking industry has seen over the years.
